AI / Robotics
Robot pathfinding algorithm developed with 2 teammates for international competition, using MATLAB and Simulink. Allows Mars rover to autonomously navigate terrain by processing camera and wheel sensor data. Placed 2nd in United States and 35th of 550 teams globally (top 6%).
Data dashboard developed for research project at National Chengchi University in Taipei. Allows policymakers to surface insights relating to regional economic productivity. Built using R and Shiny web framework.
Dashboard developed by volunteer data scientists at DataKind event, as part of collaboration with Conservation International. Allows land managers to monitor wildlife species diversity using camera trap data. Built with R, Shiny, and Leaflet.
R package that returns financial data from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in tidy data frames. Hosted on CRAN and listed under Empirical Finance Task View. Published in The Journal of Open Source Software.
